I can fake it

Just like you, I can fake it.

But, don’t you get tired of faking it every day, in everything you do? It consumes you entirely. Without realising it, it is consuming me. When you get home, how do you remember who you really are?

Why stay in that relationship with someone who no longer adds value to your life? Is it out of boredom? Why is social media fake, and yet we feed into it knowingly? Why am I hiding behind my little coffees, just to stay sane? Still, life is pretty great with my little coffee, BUT thats not the point. We don’t realise we are faking it until we stop and think, "Hold on, I don’t like you, and I don’t like this little life." So the question is:

Why. Do. We. Fake. It.

There's so much to question about why we fake it daily. Is it easier? Does it add real value to our lives? How do we maintain our sanity through it all? Honestly, I have no idea. Though, the first step is realising that this alone can consume you.

Sometimes, it helps to fake something in certain situations, like playing an imaginary game with kids or pretending to enjoy doing the dishes. It can brighten your mood and help your brain. But if you find yourself faking to like a person, your true feelings will come out one way or another, either through your expression or body language. That energy can transfer to those close to you.

Faking it can also be a way to protect ourselves from vulnerability. By pretending everything is okay, we avoid facing our fears and insecurities. But this can lead to a disconnect from our true selves and create a cycle of inauthenticity. Over time, we might lose touch with what genuinely makes us happy and fulfilled.

Ultimately, you're affecting your energy and yourself and in this day, who has time for that. So, I guess what I am saying to you and me is, realise that feeling and decide if it serves you or not because, that could just be the thing holding you back.

Thats’s all.
